CSA Subscription Return and Refund Policy

B. Blossoms CSA Membership Agreement

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a model adopted by vegetable farmers where customers prepay for a share of seasonal farm products. The farm shares the risks of farming with a community of supporters who help to sustain the farm. As a member, you are sharing the risk, but at the same, sharing the reward.

In terms of a flower farm, normally I have plenty of beautiful blooms that I am happy to share in generous bouquets. I make it a point to prioritize CSA members to be sure that you are getting the very best that I have to offer. There may be times when the harvest is less than spectacular, the bouquets may be a bit smaller. Over the course of a season, it will most likely average out. In the event of a total crop failure, I may change a pick-up date, source flowers from another farm if possible, or give a partial refund.

Communication: Email is the preferred method of communication, so please make sure you provide the correct email when purchasing your share. Email from me will be from mnordell@b-blossoms.com and it’s recommended that you add it to your safe sender list, or at least make it a point to check your spam folder on a regular basis.

Pick-Up Policy: It is my responsibility to have your bouquet ready on the designated day, it is your responsibility to remember to pick it up. It’s advisable to set a reminder on your calendar or phone for each pick-up date during the season. If you cannot make to pick-up your bouquet, feel free to send a family member of friend to pick it up on your behalf. Any bouquets left over at the end of the day will be donated to the nursing home down the street from the farms, so if you accidentally miss your pick-up, you know it will be well-loved.

Delivery: All deliveries will be made on the same day as the pick-up day, between the hours of 10-4.  If someone is available to receive the flowers when they arrive, great. If not, please let me know a good place to leave them, preferably somewhere out of direct sunlight or out of the rain.

Refund Policy: Flowers for the CSA are planned months in advance, and each bouquet is grown-to-order. I am unable to accommodate date changes or refunds for any reason. You may, however, transfer your subscription to a friend. Just let me know their email address so that they can receive the monthly notification.
